Welcome back to the blog, dear readers! Today I’m sharing a preview of the newborn session I recently had with Cecilia, who was welcomed into this big world on February 7, 2020 at 3:14am to Jennifer and Nick Wolfes. She weighed 8 IBS and was 19 inches long. Jenn told me when she found out she was pregnant Nick thought she was joking with her. They were both over the moon excited since they had waited for this moment for so long. Jenn went into labor on February 5th and two days later Cecilia arrived. “I felt a love I never knew existed, I fell madly and deeply for her” says Jennifer. As you can imagine, Mom and Dad are equal parts exhausted and delirious with their sweet baby girl, and I feel so lucky to have been given the chance to be a (small!) part of their parenthood journey

Going into the session, Mom and Dad said they felt pretty laidback about the whole thing. They were just glad Cecilia didn’t cry the whole time. Nick and Jenn prayed for many years for her and incorporated a beautiful rainbow swaddle and headband for her session. All turned out brilliantly, as you can see from the images I was able to capture that day.

Their main piece of advice to making sure all goes off without a hitch?

“Make sure baby is has full tummy and Trust your photographer, they know what they are doing” said Jennifer. I totally agree with that advice!
